Product Description
DSJS was developed to detect and defeat any kind of unmanned aerial vehicle, from micro-drones to large UAVs. DSJS in combination with the Long Range Radar System is applied to protect critical infrastructures where drones need to be detected at large distances. Micro-drones are typically detected at a distance between 2 to 4 Km’s. The defense system consists of a jamming system blocking radio frequencies used to remote control drones as well as blocking the frequency bands of Global Satellite Navigation Systems allowing drones to fly by auto-pilot.
Depending the application, protection level and geographical location, the jamming system is adapted regarding frequency band coverage and output power.
DSJS is a modular system that may be used for detection or defense of drones independently.
Applied as a full system (combination of detection and defense), the radio frequency jamming may occur automatically upon drone detection or through manual assistance by a supervisor.
The antenna system consists of five (or depending on number of frequency bands) circularly polarized antennas, ideal for jamming the control frequencies of flying Drones / UAV’s
